Little attention has been given in the international media to the public offering of Petrobras shares which, nonetheless, has made the Brazilian stock exchange now the world´s 2nd largest. According to a Market Watch source, "Bovespa exchange's market capitalization has reached 30.4 billion reals, or $17.8 billion, larger than the London, Nasdaq and New York exchanges combined."
